ESPN will present the complete 2026 Major League Baseball Wild Card Series in the Caribbean beginning Tuesday, September 29, with all four best-of-three series available across ESPN platforms.
American League Wild Card games will air on ESPN and stream live on ESPN on Disney+, while National League Wild Card games will stream exclusively on ESPN on Disney+.
In the American League, the New York Yankees host longtime rival Boston after edging the Red Sox 7-6 in their regular-season series. In Houston, the Astros host the Chicago White Sox after clinching the AL West on the final day of the regular season. Houston won five of seven meetings against Chicago this season.
In the National League, the Atlanta Braves host division rival Philadelphia after winning nine of 13 meetings between the clubs this season. The Phillies secured the final NL Wild Card spot on the last day of the regular season and have won each of their three previous postseason series against Atlanta. The San Diego Padres host the Chicago Cubs in a rematch of the 2025 NL Wild Card Series, which Chicago won in three games.
The Wild Card Series features eight teams competing in four best-of-three matchups for a chance to advance to the Division Series, with the higher-seeded team hosting all games in each series.
