The Laver Cup, which began in 2017, features Team Europe against Team World in a three-day team competition on indoor hard court. Team Europe won the first four editions, while Team World has claimed the last three. 

The unique format includes three singles matches and one doubles match each day. Matches on Day 1 are worth one point, Day 2 matches are worth two points, and Day 3 matches are worth three points. The first team to reach 13 points wins the Laver Cup. 

The international hard court men’s team tennis tournament pits six of the best men’s tennis players from Europe against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world over three days of intense team competition. Each team is captained by a legend of the sport. This year’s team consists of: 

Team Europe: Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), Alexander Zverev (Germany), Holger Rune (Denmark), Casper Ruud (Norway), Jakub Menšík (Czech Republic), Flavio Cobolli (Italy).
