Major league baseball fans will be able to experience all the passion of the 2021 World Series with LIVE coverage of the 117th edition of the Fall Classic through ESPN & ESPN App. Broadcast begins with game one between the Houston Astros vs. Atlanta Braves, Tuesday, October 26 at 7:30 pm ET from the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.
Who’s who at the long-awaited Fall Classic 2021
It will be the first time the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves meet in the Fall Classic. They have met 19 times in the postseason and the Braves currently have the advantage, 12-7.
Atlanta Braves
- This is the 10th time the Atlanta Braves reach the World Series and are currently going in search of their 4th title.
- Is the only team in MLB history that has won the World Series playing in 3 different cities (1914 in Boston, 1957 in Milwaukee and 1995 in Atlanta.)
Houston Astros
- Is the Houston Astros 4th time participating in the World Series. They have only won once, in the 2017 edition against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
