ESPN Caribbean, the home of Grand Slam tennis events in the Caribbean, will present more than 125 hours of live coverage of the 2018 US Open–the 50th anniversary of the event–live from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York beginning Monday, August 27 at noon ET. ESPN Play, ESPN International’s regional broadband service, will stream more than 1,400 hours of men’s and women’s matches.
ESPN Caribbean will also air the opening night performance by Kelly Clarkson.

MEN
- Defending champion and world No. 1, Rafael Nadal returns looking to claim his fourth US Open title. He is one of six former champions headlining the men’s singles field that includes: Five-time champion Roger Federer, two-time champion Novak Djokovic, 2009 winner Juan Martin del Potro, 2012 champion Andy Murray and 2014 winner Marin Cilic
- After more than a year, Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and Murraywill reunite to play in the same tournament.
- Federer and Nadal have exchanged the top spot six times in the past six months. Nadal is guaranteed to take the top world ranking into the US Open.
WOMEN
- 100 of the top 101-ranked players in the world have earned direct entry into the tournament including, 11 Grand Slam singles champions: World No. 1 Simona Halep, defending US Open champion and world No. 3 Sloane Stephens and six-time US Open winner Serena Williams. They will be joined by two-time US Open winner Venus Williams, 2006 champion Maria Sharapova, 2011 winner Sam Stosur and 2016 champion and current world No. 4 Angelique Kerber. In addition, 2018 Australia Open champion and world No. 2 Caroline Wozniacki, two-time Grand Slam women’s singles champion and world No. 7 Garbiñe Muguruza, two-time Wimbledon champion and world No. 8 Petra Kvitova and 2017 French Open winner Jelena Ostapenko, complete the list of 11 Grand Slam singles champions.
- Serena Williams is looking for her 24th Grand Slam single title overall, which would tie the all-time record with Margaret Court, and her first title as a mom, having given birth during last year’s US Open.
