India aim to follow up on 4-0 Test series victory
ESPN Caribbean continues exclusive coverage of the 2016/17 England Tour of India with the limited overs segment of the Tour bowling off from January 15 at 2:50 a.m. ET. The teams will engage in three One Day Internationals (ODI), followed by three Twenty20 (T20) clashes from January 26. All matches and highlights will air live via the ESPN Caribbean and ESPN2 Caribbean television networks, as well as on ESPN Play (www.espnplay.com) — ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.
After consolidating top spot in the ICC Test rankings by winning the five-match Test series 4-0, India will look to crack into a top three position in the ODI rankings, alongside their opponents. The hosts will also be eyeing top spot in the T20 rankings against their sixth-placed opposition. India will field star batsman and skipper, Virat Kohli, in addition to all-rounders, Ravi Ashwin and Ravi Jadeja, while England will look to captain, Alastair Cook, and talismanic batsman, Joe Root, to rebound.
