Pariba Little League from Curacao Competes at the Little League World Series LIVE on ESPN Caribbean from Williamsport

Coverage Starts Friday, August 19 at 6 p.m. ET

 After winning the 2016 Caribbean Regional Tournament, Pariba Little League from Curacao will participate in the 70th Little League World Series presented by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes airing live on ESPN Caribbean. The team will play against South Korea in its first game tonight at 6 p.m. ET.

This will be the 13th team from Curacao to compete at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. and the fourth time for Pariba. The team appeared in the 2001 and 2002 tournaments as the first Caribbean Region Champions, and in 2012. Pariba is looking to win Curacao’s second World Series Championship. Pabao Little League won the Championship in 2004 with future Major League Baseball players, Jonathan Schoop (Baltimore Orioles) and Jurickson Profar (Texas Rangers).

ESPN Caribbean will carry all Pariba matches live. The schedule is subject to change depending on the team’s performance. Following Friday’s game, if Pariba loses they play on Saturday, August 20, at 6 p.m. ET and if they win they play on Sunday, August 21 at 5 p.m. ET.
