ESPN Caribbean, the home of tennis’ Grand Slam events, presents the 130th Championships at Wimbledon, with over 100 hours of exclusive live coverage on its TV networks, ESPN Caribbean and ESPN2 Caribbean. Coverage of this prestigious tournament begins Monday, June 27, at 7 a.m. ET, including all the action from the early rounds through the men’s & women’s finals.
Wimbledon is the third Grand Slam of the year and tennis’ only grass court Major event. Three-time champion and world no. 1 Novak Djokovic returns to the pristine Centre Court as the defending champion. Last year’s event was the first of four successive Grand Slam titles won by the Serb. World no. 1 and 2015 champion, Serena Williams, also returns to the All England Club in pursuit of her sixth Wimbledon title.
ESPN Play, the network’s multi-screen broadband service, offers over 1,400 of live hours with simulcast coverage of English-language TV productions, streaming of all 15 televised courts and the ‘Wimbledon Surround’ three screen offering. Additionally, Live@Wimbledon, the daily onsite show, presents a blend of live tennis and off-court coverage, including interviews, match highlights, previews and reviews.
